WE unearthed another gem

An amazing lady

So happy to now share our Vera Deacon story. It's 10min of Joy. To meet Vera is to fall in love and truly one of the great privileges of our lives to sit and record her stories. She was full of light and we hoped to capture that essence and share it with you. Her contributions to history, conservation and philanthropy in Newcastle, Australia are too great to be covered in one go. This film is a collection of stories from Vera's early life on the islands of the Hunter River. We made it in partnership with our good friends at Newcastle Library. When Vera passed this city lost one of it’s greats

Vera is amazing! Love this
